Ducati M900 Monster
The M900 was a cross between a power cruiser and a street-fighter. Nicknamed 'Il Monstro' by the engineering team, this machine was a well executed design excercise. Utilizing the motor from the 900SS, and an all new perimeter frame, the M900 was both a head turner and a sweet performer. It's most obvious asset was the sheer fun it was to ride.

Ducati put on some high end components. The front featured upside-down forks, and the rear a fully adjustable shock. Braking duties were covered by twin discs up front, and a single disc in the rear. Four piston Brembo calipers were fitted up front.

The Monster has remained in Ducati's line-up through the years. More recently, some different versions have appeared, namely the Monster Dark and Monster City, but the design has changed little.

Power in 1999 was 68.2bhp, with torque of 54.6ft/lb's. Wet weight was 462lb's.
