KAWASAKI H2 750

The 500cc H1 was introduced in 1969, and soon gained a reputation for it's incredible speed, proneness to wheelies, and its dubious handling. This reputation was passed on to the H2 750 Mach IV, despite the fact that it was, by comparison, a much more refined machine. The engine was smoother & torquier, it had decent brakes, and comfort was respectable. The frame was based on the 500's, with a couple of extra braces, and this, along with the suspension, were the 750's weak points. Many H1's and H2's have been spotted wobbling precariously around turns. Straight line performance, however, was incredible. Power was 74bhp@6800rpm, with torque of 57.1ft/lb's@6500rpm. Dry weight was 422lb's.
