SUZUKI GSXR1300 Hayabusa
Producing the fastest production motorcycle available has tradationally been a goal fought over by the Japanese Manufacturers. Prior to the Hayabusa, the battle was between the CBR1100XX and the ZX11. With the introduction of this machine, new lines were drawn. Not only was the Hayabusa by far and away the fastest, it combined the staggering performance with decent real world manners. For such a long and large machine, it can still hustle through corners, although the effort required is substantial, and a series of turns can become a chore to execute. It would even be possible to consider this machine for sport touring duties. The introduction of the ZX12 in 2000 was expected to take away the top speed honors, but the Hayabusa still came out on top.

Power in 1999 was 151.1hp, with torque of 93.4ft/lb's. Wet weight was 550lb's.
