SUZUKI RF600, 1994-1996
There were a lot of positives, and a number of negatives regarding the Ferrari inspired RF600R. On the positive side, the engine was silky smooth, and the (heavy) steel perimeter frame did a great job on handling duties. The fairing provided ample protection, and the looks were stunning. On the negative side, the riding position was 'sport-bike' radical, allowing for stints of 60 miles max, and there was a hideous flat spot in the power curve (on the 1995 model... '94 fared better), the other side of which was straight 'on-the-pipe'. The rear suspension had too much rebound damping, so the rear end did not track very well. Some reviews failed to notice any of the above traits, and heaped praise on the RF600. It was certainly a vast improvement over the GSXR600 it replaced.

Power in 1995 was 82.8bhp, with torque of 41.6. Wet weight was 469lb's.
