YAMAHA YZF600 R6, 1999 +
The Yamaha YZF-R1 had already taken the world by storm, and had become the ultimate sport bike to possess. Yamaha couldn't build enough of them. Then came the YZF-R6, which was a scaled down version. The R6 was the most powerful, lightest, and shortest 600 available. Being such a competitive class however, the competition was incredibly stiff, and the R6 certainly wasn't a clear winner in comparisons. It was sometimes ranked no better than third in the class.

Power in 1999 was 93.3bhp, with torque of 42ft/lb's. wet weight was 430lb's.
